In 2003 I came to nellore with thousands of dreams and in 2015 IT HAPPENED me and my brother in law (Deepu ) started JAY GOLD with a single counter .There was no showroom and no team. There was one small counter in Nellore, a few pieces of jewellery, and a promise I made to myself: no family should ever leave my shop doubting what they paid for.
The early years were not easy. I designed the pieces, sat with the craftsmen, weighed every gram and handed over every bill myself. Many of you trusted me when I had nothing to show except my word. I have never forgotten that.
Today we are a family of 11 people. We design and make our own gold and diamond jewellery here in Nellore, and the children of my first customers now come to us for their own weddings. That is the only award I have ever wanted.
