Privacy policy

This policy explains what details Jay Gold (JAIN AMITHA) collects on this website and in our mobile app, why we collect them and how we keep them safe. By using the website or the app you agree to this policy.

1. Details we collect

• Account details : your name, mobile number, email, and if you add them, your photo, date of birth, gender and address.
• Order details : the pieces you buy, the billing address and the order and payment status.
• Savings scheme details : the scheme you join, your monthly payments, nominee and the identity proof needed for KYC.
• Payments : payments are handled by our payment partner Razorpay. We receive only the payment reference, the method (UPI, card, net banking) and the amount. We never see or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net banking password.
• Messages : what you write to us in the chat, the enquiry and appointment forms, and reviews you send.
• Technical details : the internet address and browser of a visit, used only for security (for example to stop repeated wrong logins).

2. Why we use them

• To create your account, confirm your email and keep your login safe.
• To take your order and payment, prepare your jewellery and hand it over at our store.
• To run your savings scheme, send payment reminders and show how much you have saved.
• To answer your chat messages, enquiries and appointment requests.
• To send new arrival alerts, only when you allow them in your browser or app.
• To follow the law (GST invoices, KYC and records we must keep).

3. Who we share them with

We do not sell or rent your details to anyone. They are shared only with the companies that help us run the service : Razorpay (payments), our email service (codes and order mails) and our hosting company, and with government offices when the law asks for it.

4. How we keep them safe

• The whole website works only on a secure https connection.
• Logins are protected by email codes, limits on wrong tries and automatic logout after some minutes without use.
• Every payment is checked with Razorpay's signature before an order or scheme payment is marked paid.
• Only our staff with their own login can see customer details in our office software.

5. Cookies

We use only the cookies the website needs : one to keep you logged in, one for security, and small ones that remember that you have already seen the launch banner. We do not use advertising cookies.

6. How long we keep them

Account, order and scheme details are kept while your account is open and for as long as the tax and jewellery laws ask us to keep bills and records. Security records are removed after a few days.

7. Your choices

• You can see and change your details on the My profile page at any time.
• You can switch off new arrival alerts in your browser or app settings.
• You can ask us to close your account and remove your details, except the records the law asks us to keep.

8. Children

Accounts, orders and schemes are for adults. A person under 18 should use the website with a parent or guardian.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, the new version is shown on this page with the date below.
